Overview

One-Stop Health Checkup Service at Health Design Center

Annual checkups are important to your health as they can help reveal if the body is functioning correctly and can also lead to early detection of diseases before any symptoms develop allowing treatment to begin sooner. The center also provides medical consultation with regards to Lifestyle Modification such as nutrition and exercise, as well as how to detect symptoms.

Our physicians are experienced and supported by advanced medical technology to monitor your health, enabling early detection and solution of health problems. We offer strategies for staying healthy, including ways to be active and strong. Our goal is to partner with you, helping you achieve a fuller, healthier life.

The Health Design Center has received Hospital Accreditation and service and quality certification from the Joint Commission International. We also work closely with the Oregon Health & Science University, known for their expertise in occupational medicine.

Important: Pre-Checkup Preparation

Preparation For Health Check-Up Specific To Occupational Risk Factor

  1. For 48 hours before the appointment, avoid exposure to loud noise such as going to the pub, and listening to loud speaker.
  2. Avoid diving and hiking in the mountains for 48 hours before your check-up.
  3. If you have a cold within 2 weeks before your check-up, please let your doctor know.
  4. If you travel by plane within 48 hours before your check-up, please let your doctor know.

Preparation For Health Check-Up Specific To Chemical Hazards

Preparation for Benzene and Toluene tests

  1. Avoid any exposure to smoke at least 5 days before the test.
  2. Avoid taking food with preservatives at least 5 days before the test.

Preparation for Arsenic test

Health Check-Up Process

  1. Register at the registration counter if you do not have any medical records at Bangkok hospital before. You will need an ID card or a passport for the registration.
  2. For individual health check-up specific to occupational risk factor, please contact Occupational Health Center on the 5th floor, R building
  3. Fill in your health, lifestyle, and personal information in a questionnaire.
  4. Take height and weight measurements. Visual acuity test will also be performed.
  5. Take a blood test.*Our nurses or advisors will give you the details of each procedure.
  6. You will receive the health check-up result from a doctor and have the opportunity to discuss your concerns or questions.

Remark: There are snacks and drinks available for check-up patients while you are waiting for the result.

Preparation For Health Check-Up

  1. You are required to fast from food and beverages for at least 6-8 hours before the appointment. Only water may be taken for patients who have had no endoscopy, barium enema, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, or CT-scan in the program.
  2. Bring all your current medications so your doctor could review them.
  3. For women, menstrual blood can contaminate a urine sample. It is best to take the urine test one week after their period.
  4. Please make prior appointment via our contact center: 1719. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call our contact center: 1719.

  4. Our nurses or advisors will recommend a suitable check-up program.
  5. Pay for your check-up program at cashier’s office located on the 5th floor, R Building
  6. Taking height and weight measurements. Visual acuity test will also be performed.
  7. Taking a blood test.
  8. You will receive the health check-up result from a doctor and have the opportunity to discuss your concerns or questions.
